Knowledge and development
Ideella Sverige works to strengthen organisations’ ability to support, develop, and sustain volunteering. We provide training and advice, develop methods, and create meeting places that make it easier for organisations in our networks to activate their members and recruit, lead, and motivate volunteers, elected representatives, and others engaged on a voluntary basis. We work with both our member organisations and other associations in our networks.
Books and Reports (in Swedish)
We want to help increase knowledge about non-profit organising, volunteering, civic engagement, and civil society. The books are printed to order and sent directly to you. The reports are available digitally and can be downloaded.
Training
Volontärbyrån, part of Ideella Sverige, has been training organisations in volunteering and civic engagement since 2002. The training is aimed at non-profit organisations and provides knowledge, inspiration, and practical tools for building and developing sustainable volunteer programmes.
We offer tailored training, workshops, and lectures on volunteering and civic engagement — for individual organisations or for several associations together. The content is shaped around your needs and circumstances, whether you are a small or large organisation.
All our training can be delivered online, making it easy to take part remotely. With extensive experience of training within civil society, we help you find a format that suits your organisation.
